Maggie - Upcycled Mini Dress UK 6-8
I've been collecting vintage for years!! I wanted to repurpose them into something entirely unique and whimsical thus creating a sustainable collection by reducing clothing and textile waste.
This creation started as a vintage maxi dress with ditsy floral print from the 70s. I loved the high neck detail and the Victoriana aesthetic it had. After it was laundered, I decided to make it super mini and placed heavy strips of lace around the bodice so they gave a harness effect. I finished it off with a sprinkle of silk flowers across the waist and hip to give it more of a romantic look.
Measurements: (model is a size UK 8/US 4 - recommended size)
Bust: approx 41cm
Waist: approx 36cm
Length = approx 84cm
I would recommend dry clean or a very gentle hand wash.
Please note: Each piece may have slight imperfections which is just part of the overall aesthetic and may not be to everyone's taste such as raw finishes, contrast/visible hand stitching etc..
