Fayola began as a 1970s blue nightdress, which I reimagined into a richly detailed, whimsical creation layered with an array of lace trims, textures, and iridescent accents. An ethereal mermaid-sheen sequin drape ripples across the front, while gunmetal lurex lace graces the neckline and back for a soft metallic glimmer. Heavy black floral trims with beadwork bring contrast and depth, and a centre lace panel adorned with mirrorwork adds a hint of folkloric charm.
Soft gossamer lace trims and spot tulle veil the piece in airy movement, while a slender cotton lace tie at the waist allows you to cinch the silhouette or wear it loose and smock-like, whatever feels most romantic to you.
