I've been collecting vintage for years, especially slip dresses!! I wanted to repurpose them into something entirely unique and whimsical thus creating a sustainable collection by reducing clothing and textile waste.
Gorgeous as a beach, forest, alternative wedding dress or simply for wafting around home in! You can wear it belted or loose and smock-like. Totally one of a kind, I would never be able to recreate this dress ever again!
♦ FEATURES
- This creation started as a vintage cotton slip/night dress with embroidery all over. Super comfortable on the skin.
- Spotted georgette and cotton lace trims.
- There is a little bit of elastication on the back for comfort.
♦ MEASUREMENTS: - on the half. Recommended size UK 10-12. Model is a SIZE UK 8 /US 4 / 32DD
- Bust: 47cm
- Length: approx 127cm
♦ THINGS TO NOTE
- IMPORTANT: There is a tiny red pen mark on the frill, see photos. This is very unnoticeable.
- Due to the nature of upcycling from vintage, each piece may have slight imperfections which is just part of the overall aesthetic and may not be to everyone's taste such as raw finishes, contrast/visible hand stitching etc..
- I would recommend a gentle hand wash or machine washable at 30 degrees, but place in a laundry bag.
