One of my most favourite memories of a ‘pansy’ is in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951) when Alice enters a garden full of singing flowers and the pansies are most memorable to me as it highlights how the patterns on a pansy really do resemble faces! I can’t remember how old I was when I first watched this but it was definitely one of my favourites and was often on repeat, over and over again.
Why is the pansy associated with Capricorn?

Its distinctive, face-like markings make the pansy instantly recognisable, while its wonderful range of colours offers plenty of inspiration for artists and designers.
